The online MS in Computer Science program at Tulane is designed for working professionals and offers both full-time and part-time options. You can choose to complete the full-time track in 20-28 months or the part-time track in 28-36 months. The program length varies depending on class availability and the number of credits taken each semester.
Each three-credit-hour course meets for one 75-minute live, online session each week, and you can expect to complete 2-3 hours of coursework a week per credit hour. If you pursue the full-time track, we recommend that you take 2-3 courses per semester and dedicate 18-27 hours a week to your studies. For the part-time track, we suggest that you take 1-2 courses each semester and commit 9-18 hours per week to the program.
