Online Graduate Certificates

Certificate programs provide graduate-level training but do not conclude in a graduate degree. Some programs may be applied toward continuation in a graduate degree program, but requirements vary, so interested students are advised to discuss their academic goals with an enrollment advisor to understand the process.

The program prepares professionals to address the public health impacts of disasters through training in emergency preparedness, crisis communication, response coordination, and recovery. You'll learn from experienced faculty with expertise in disaster management, environmental health, and public health practice.

The program prepares professionals to recognize, evaluate, and control workplace exposures arising from chemical, physical, and environmental hazards. You'll learn from faculty and practitioners with expertise in occupational and environmental health, toxicology, and workplace safety.

Designed for working professionals and students from a variety of backgrounds, the program provides a strong foundation in the core disciplines of public health, including epidemiology, biostatistics, health systems, and program design. You'll learn from expert faculty while gaining practical insight into the factors that shape health outcomes and population well-being.

Extending the Heart of New Orleans

Our online programs draw inspiration from Tulane’s rich cultural and intellectual environment, fostering a unique educational experience that extends New Orleans’ spirit of resilience, courage, innovation, audacity, and creativity to the global community.

"For more than a century, Tulane has been preparing public health leaders to meet the moment, building on our legacy as the first school of public health established in the United States. Today that education includes a range of online programs that meet students where they are, helping them to advance their careers while continuing to work full-time, engage in family responsibilities, or serve in the military. These are the same rigorous programs we have taught on campus, delivered in a flexible yet still very personal and relational online format. Well-trained public health professionals are needed now more than ever, and Tulane’s online programs help ensure students can access those needed skills and competencies."
